Video: How Tia put her EpiPen® lessons to use

Tia and Henry share their relief that they had EpiPen® at hand during an anaphylactic incident at a festival.

Henry and his family have been aware of his severe allergies since he was a toddler. So, his mum taught Tia how to use EpiPen® within a week of them starting to date. She made sure she was fluent in the mantra: Blue to the sky, Orange to the thigh.

Henry and Tia are grateful for the lessons as Tia was able to help Henry during an anaphylactic reaction soon afterwards.

Watch our video in which Henry explains that he was so unwell that he was unable to administer EpiPen® for himself.

That’s when Tia took over. Her lessons paid off and she found using EpiPen® far easier than she had imagined.

“It made all the training worthwhile,” says Tia.
